Meet the Founder.
Simply Skin was founded by Brenna after her own struggles with severe teenage acne showed her how deeply skin challenges can affect confidence and mental health. Frustrated by misinformation and expensive products marketed toward teens, she became passionate about learning the science behind skincare and sharing reliable information with others. Through Simply Skin, Brenna has built a supportive community of 100+ student members across three school chapters, while also launching the Beyond the Breakout teen education blog to provide honest, science-based skincare guidance.
The Idea.
Simply Skin combines product access with education to support teens both physically and emotionally. Each kit includes acne-safe cleansers, moisturizers, body wash, treatments, and sunscreen—especially important in South Florida’s climate. Kits have been distributed to organizations supporting foster youth, teen mothers, and families facing financial hardship. With additional funding, Simply Skin aims to expand kit distribution, grow its educational outreach, and continue empowering teens with the resources and knowledge they need to feel confident in their own skin.
